- Eva is a consumer mobile app for real-time event announcements. With the same app you can create events and you can follow events created by others—ideal for conferences, weddings, school events, and community gatherings.
- Who is Eva for?
- Eva is for two core personas: event creators (who create events and post announcements) and attendees/followers (who join by QR code or invite and receive announcements). Both use the same app.
- Do I need an account?
- You’ll create an account in the app when you join or organize an event. The website is informational only; everything happens in the Eva mobile app.
- Is Eva free?
- Yes. Eva is currently in beta and free to use. In the future, event creators may be able to subscribe to paid plans for advanced features and larger events.
- How do I join an event?
- Open the Eva app and follow the invite or QR code from your organizer. Access may be public or restricted depending on how the event is set up.
- How do I create an event?
- Open the Eva app and create an event. Then share your QR code or invite link so attendees can join and receive your announcements in real time.
- How do I use Event Manager to assign announcement tasks to other people?
- As the event owner, open your event in the Eva app and go to Event Manager. There you can add trusted people as event managers and give them responsibilities tied to announcements—for example drafting an update, posting a scheduled reminder, or covering announcements while you are busy. You decide who is a manager and what they can do; followers still only receive the announcements that you and your managers publish. Contact Support if you need help finding these options in your version of the app.
